Pet loss

You think dogs will not be in heaven?
I tell you, they will be there long before any of us.

Robert Louis Stevenson

There are many good websites devoted to this personal loss. As funeral directors, we are sensitive to people's grief and want to help. Because this is not the sole concentration of funeral directors however, we defer to the expertise of others and suggest these websites. They are only representative of the many more that are easily found on the internet.
Many funeral homes do offer memorial and grief products that can be used for your pet. For a few ideas, visit our page, Other Products.

The websites above are listed only because of their easy accessibility. We do not endorse them, are not associated with them in any way and are not responsible for their content.
Almost all states require that a cremation chamber that is used to cremate animal remains cannot be used to cremate those of humans.
Do not assume when a friend's pet dies, that they are not grieving because it's an animal and not a person. As anyone who's ever had a pet can tell you, the relationship is as close, and sometimes closer, than that of a human. Be sensitive and caring and encourage them to talk about their close companion.
